Identifying Fallacies
Read a 5-paragraph essay about a specific topic. The essay contains five fallacious arguments (logical errors) and one additional fallacy included as an example to guide you. Your job is to:
1. Identify the fallacies in the essay by sentence number.
2. Explain why the sentence is fallacious (why it weakens the argument). Your explanation should be 20-35 words.
3. Rewrite the fallacious sentence to make it logical and improve the argument.
In your answer include:
The sentence number you identify as fallacious.
The explanation of the fallacy.
