Writing a Report — 23

(60 minutes, 250–300 words)

An English magazine has a weekly column called “Education in the 21^st century”. As part of their new investigation into educational issues, they have asked you to write a report based on your own research of the numbers of boys and girls who took national exams in secondary education (GCSE) in Computer Studies, England, 1995-2014.

In your report:

1. Compare the numbers of boys and girls who took the exam in 1995 and 2014.
2. Explain the changes in numbers.
3. Name the possible future changes in the education of the UK.
